Frustrated

I'm really very frustrated and tired by the attitude of these people. And I would say it's the worst company to take an Internet connection with. I had already been stuck in a really bad situation in the month of November'20 wherein I was ready dealing with some really bad employers. And had to immediately leave the country as they had canceled my Visa without even notifying me and when I called Etisalat to cancel my account, one of their executives/agents told me that it was canceled and I left with a free mind. Even my Visa had got cancelled and I left the country so there was no consumption after Nov'20. But when I came back one of an Agent called me and asked me to pay him AED300 and the whole procedure took place like the way it does and then suddenly after 3 months I see that they suspended the connection again. And since that day I have been getting so many threat mails and calls to pay an amount of AED 2800 something for no reason. And these customer executives calling and irritating me again and again. I'm so tired of telling them stories and complaining. I tried writing on their mail but their server blocked me. I even asked for a settlement by paying for the month of Nov'20 and then they said you can pay AED 400 first and then we will file your complaint and when I asked them for something in written they said they won't be able to provide it until I pay. Is this a Fraud Game going on?. This has been a horrible experience for me and in my opinion, you should never get a connection from them.

Unethical pricing strategies - criminal in other parts of the world. Automated service is a joke. Disappintubg to see such an unethical company operating in the uae

Etisalat staffs are a nightmare

Etisalat staffs are not educated about the plans, dont know what to say and says multiple things each time. Why is it that when you are going to Etisalat to take an account, you are being treated royally and when I want to cancel the account, Im being just given a number and asking me to call that number? When I went to Etisalat store in Madinat Zayed, the guy who says he is the acting manager was rude to me and was raising his voice against me. Wow! Is that how you treat your customers? Good job! If only you teach your people to behave first!

Very bad service!

Etisalat has been providing very bad service and day by day it has been proving that a telecom-network can substandard it service quality more than ones imagination/expectation. They have been investing very huge amount for advertisements/marketing, actually for what? There is no competitors to beat, I think not at all. It is like monopoly but still they have been investing millions for marketing only. If the consumers/customers had alternative suppliers they wouldn't choose Etisalat such a versed customer service they have been providing for many years. I'm wondering why it has been happening in such a beautiful country. The consumers, they have not been getting any proper rights/response from their supplier(Etisalat). Many people may had read books regarding monopoly market but they have not seen any real one in their life because we may think it has not existed in this generation but No! Folks! It's a perfect example of monopoly and we all knew and we can say, we cannot exist/live without the help of telecommunications especially in this time and the same sector has been ruining, we cannot imagine this is happening in this beautiful country.
Why I did not share my experience here because I just went through the reviews most of the people had explained their experiences and we all knew nothing is going to happen and we cannot do anything.

Who cares our concern/complaints.

They knew sure that I cannot raise a finger against the supplier(Etisalat) they have been eating that much quantity of foods and they are very healthy and can able and possible to beat a poor and unhealthy person who does not have the money to eat.

But one day all unhealthy people will gather then only can defeat this supplier(Etisalat), I have been waiting to join(Alternative efficient service providers/Suppliers).

Who knows, how long will I need to wait or the same healthy man share/provide his food/efficient service to the poor and sort the issues and remain everyone be healthy. Wait and see if we all are alive and survived from this pandemic.

Truth about Etisalat - As an Employee

I am going shed some light as an employee of Etisalat, working at the northern emirates office.
Modern slavery is an understatement, torture is somewhat the right word. Unfortunately, a lot of us are in fear for the job loss and have to submit and keep going so we can feed our families.
- Our salaries are often deducted with no explanation. Almost 20-30%
- We do not have working hours, especially after covid, we work for more than 12 hours with no over time.
- The culture is abusive, at least 3 level above me. They all are abusive in nature, behave like its a brothel and we are all night workers.
- They also take off 500-1000 AED for silly mistakes in an email or delay in sending an email despite the pressure and work load.
Yes, we have tried to reach out to other department heads and the top level management. We were told we should go see our managers, the same people responsible for the torture.
Who ever is responsible for this, and who ever is in a position and have not taken any step against it, May God question you a million questions for each person suffering, and you never live in peace.

Avoid

Avoid! Terrible service l & cancellation is mayhem!
I attempted to cancel my service with this company on several occasions on my final occasion I was told my account will be closed and final bill be sent however this never happened I continue to chase them to receive this final bill and he got to a point where they apologised and said I didn’t have to pay it as a goodwill gesture I then left the country and got moved back to the UK was several months later I was contacted by this company to pay my outstanding bill which I assumed the account was already closed for this has now been going since September August 2020 and in April are still asking me to pay the accumulation of

Only money matters

When a line is asked to be disconnected, please simply cancel it. After a while, I found four months of pending payments without any prior notice.
They disconnected the home line and threaten of travel ban!

Do extra charges after close the account

Pathetic service but really pathetic! And they charged more when you cancel. Keep that in mind at the moment to ask for this service.

That guy from Etisalat Mirdif City…

That guy from Etisalat Mirdif City Center named Mohammed Ahmed Ali Duty Manager, is so rude and not responsible at all! He was giving me wrong info, waited 3 hours and giving me wrong billing charge and leaves me hanging without even helping any single action.

I have a number for the last 14 years…

I have a number for the last 14 years under my wife's name, who also has her number.
Due to the Covid 19, she lost her job and was sent back home, which means her Visa and Emirates ID was cancelled.
Now, I would like to take ownership of the contract since I still have employment.
To have the contract changed, both parties need to be in UAE; due to COVID, my wife will not return here and is unlikely to come back.
From the customer service, I was told NO BOTH PARTIES NEED TO BE HERE WITH VALID EMIRATES IDS.
I'm not sure what part of this conversation was NOT precise.
COVID- LOST HER JOB- And had to leave the country.
Not helpful at all in these difficult times.

Etisalat is a rip off

If I could rate it zero, I wouldn't hesitate. So let's say my rating is actually zero. I was with Du and I thought Etisalat is better so I switched my line with them. Ever since I get charged every month 20-30 dirhams more and it was fine by me. However, me and my husband moved out from silicon to business bay and we wanted to move our eLife package 250mbps 389 dirhams. After contacting etisalat, we learned that they don't provide this service in business bay since it's controlled by du and the only way to avoid paying a penalty of 1,200 dirhams is to stay with them and subscribe for another package called Bitstream offering 25mbps for 399! That's 10 times slower. When I told them it's ridiculous, they offered me another package 50mpbs for 599 :)! ! That's not only 5 times slower but also more expensive than what I'm paying right now for 250mbps. I complained to Etisalat, TRA, and nothing! That is absolute thievery. If you are unable to provide me with the same exact package and same exact money or at least something very similar to it, don't steal away my money and pretend I'm breaching the contract. You are breaching ethical codes!

The worst

Worst customer service ever, waiting for few hours with very slow service, either you need more employees or teach your employees to work in a more productive way
